Vol. 3 No. 1 (2021)
This issue of the journal addresses contemporary challenges in mental health and nursing. First, it analyzes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and preventive isolation, highlighting serious psychological consequences for children, vulnerable groups, and female healthcare workers. Second, it presents a study on virtual social networks among high school students in Sucre, revealing the widespread use of these platforms and a tendency toward addiction due to a lack of personal control. Furthermore, it explores how network analysis in nursing research facilitates the understanding of complex health systems, enabling improvements in clinical care. Finally, it includes an academic proposal to integrate chain-of-custody procedures into the nursing curriculum in the city of La Paz.
