Plagiarism: A latent problem in academic institutions
Abstract
For as long as anyone can remember, intellectual plagiarism has been a frequent occurrence, becoming a common form of fraud and dishonesty in academia. It's evident that many professors, researchers, and undergraduate and graduate students, driven by a lack of initiative, creativity, or, in most cases, an inability to present their findings in a way that impacts the academic community, resort to plagiarism to avoid criticism, ridicule, and rejection from their peers.
